One of the greatest perks of homeschooling is the incredible flexibility it offers—you’re not tied to a rigid school schedule, giving your child more opportunities to explore their interests. We recognize that your family’s evenings and weekends may already be packed with commitments, which is why we’ve designed a hockey program specifically for homeschoolers.
Our sessions take place midday during the week, ensuring they seamlessly fit into your child’s schedule. Whether your child is already enrolled in a community hockey program and wants extra ice time, participates in other activities in the evenings or weekends, or simply enjoys keeping family time sacred—this program works for you.
For the 2025/26 season, we’ve refreshed our homeschool hockey program to make it even more engaging.
This program welcomes both newcomers to hockey and players with prior experience. Unlike last season, this is not a learn-to-skate program, so all participants must have basic skating ability—at minimum, they should be able to stand and move on the ice. However, high-level skills are not required! Players will focus on improving their techniques throughout the program. If you're unsure whether your child meets the criteria, just reach out—we’d be happy to help.
Have questions about our programming, eligibility, or background? Check out our HSH FAQ page, or send us a message at hello@rinknation.ca. We can’t wait to see your child on the ice! 🏒
